Just a quick update - hi everyone! So, I'm basically a bit tired, but the site migration is moving forward. Chris and I worked from yesterday when I got off the plane until 6am today, grabbed a couple hours of shut eye and were back at it most of the day today. At this point we're a bit over 75% done with customer migrations, and we expect to fully complete them tomorrow. I'm going to breathe a real sigh of relief. We still have some internal sites and programs to migrate to the new servers later this week, but we are migrating all of our customers first since the hard drive (we're told) is unstable and I just don't want to take the risk. Furthermore we did complete the download of ALL customer backups yesterday so even if the hard drive were to fail, we have a backup for every client which is no more than 48 hours old - not a perfect situation but it will get us through.
Looking forward to providing you with a final update tomorrow as we complete this long process. Thanks for hanging in there, and kudos to Chris for the spiffy offsite blog - we will talk more about that once the immediate problem is behind us.

25% of our clients are now transitioned
We have currently moved 25% of our customer's sites off of the old service and on to the new. As of 5:30am, we are taking time to sleep before tackling the rest - the last thing we want to do is make a mistake. As of now, all of our sites on the old and the new service are up - but please shoot us an email or give us a call if you run into issues.

Migration Continues...
As part of our move to the new server, we are continuing to back up and move our customers sites one by one as the night progresses. DNS propagation should take 24-48 hours. If you manage any content on your website, you may wish to wait during this time until your ISP replicates with the new addresses properly.
